Farmhouse La Stradaccia

Where nature and history create a unique atmosphere, you can see "Ginestreto" charming village on the outskirts of Pesaro, located at 228 meters above sea level, a paradise where you can admire the rich and fertile valley of the River Foglia and the ' horizon merges with the blue of the Adriatic Sea.

A thousand years of history have marked this beautiful village, surrounded by medieval walls which enclose perched houses brightened by flower-filled windowsills, with streets uphill and downhill and small spaces where you can admire the beauty of the landscape in the silence of nature.

From this ancient place, once illuminated by yellow broom, it is a work of the most important artistic heritage from Pesaro: a barbaric sarcophagus -VIII the VII century.

The castle built between the Xth and XIth century, was part of the countryside of Pesaro; there existed neither a fortress nor a palace, the only architectural feature was the fortified entrance to the triple arch, with a drawbridge.

The Old Parish Church, dedicated to St. Peter, was built before the castle, being the first form of rural settlement of a community around the religious building.
